June 3rd event Statement. To summarise, less than 0.1% of Atomic app users have been affected. Since then, no new cases have been reported.
None of the possible issues have been confirmed as potentially causing massive breaches. Builds are verified by professional external auditors. Our security infrastructure has been updated.
We continue to work with crypto investigators, authorities and exchanges. It takes time. We'll update the community when there are more details on this front, and we ask for your patience.
Atomic is a non-custodial wallet app. The company itself, as a software developer, doesn't have access to private keys and user funds. Atomic doesn't have accounts, doesn't ask for any personal information, and doesn't track user transactions. Thus making the investigation of the root cause more complex.
